TWINSIES! @ Beijing
ORANGE YOU GLAD I DIDN'T SAY BANANA?
this was purely accidental. the girl on the right was sitting peacefully alone with her yellow coat when suddenly the second girl sat next to her. thing got awkward from that moment on.

King of Spades

they call him Shifty
and he has a King of Spades on his hat
and his jeans are cut to a neat break
and they're creased at the front
and his shoes are shone
and his shirt is crisp
and rolled casually at the sleeves
he sits like he's on his throne.
clearly, he is King.

Keeping Busy...Get Frocked.
OK I have been neglecting to post promised photos once again....
...but i have a valid excuse now!
sorry guys I have been flat out working on an exhibit, an installation which will feature some of my fashion designs mainly menswear, as well as some photographs and relics i have put together.
I have mentioned, once or twice in previous posts, my disinterest in the gender stereotyping of clothes. Obviously, there are certain aspects in clothing that are restricted to one gender purely for technical and functional reasons. When it comes to aesthetics however, I think it's time we broke the crotches and girdles of what is "normal" and return to our freedom of wearing what is beautiful and comfortable regardless of anything!
It's not about gender, culture, sexuality, age, ethnicity, what we grew up believing and what is deemed to be "appropriate".....it's about freedom! freedom of men wearing skirts because it emphasizes their calves, because it makes them feel comfortable, because it looks nice with their shirt.....freedom of a young Victorian-era lady wearing a pair of loose fisherman's pants because it makes her breathe. It's about a gay boy putting a flower on his buttonhole just because it accentuates the buttons of his coat---not because he's gay.
Freedom to Wear.
Come Around. See things with your own eyes and decide for yourself.

Plain White T @ Oxford St Sydney

white t-shirts can go so far and then some.
this blank canvas provides the wearer with endless possibilities of painting their personality through customization and can have very effective results.
on the other hand, the plain white t can also be the masterpiece in its naked self, which happens to be my favoured method of wearing it.
choice of accessories and environment are essential for highlighting the starkness of this most basic of garments. these include, but are not limited to, colour contrasting furniture and shade of hair.
so carry your own portable sitting contraption, such as Tom here and his trusty blue milk crate.
make white be your brite lite.
disclaimer: the truth about Tom carrying his own milk crate---it wasn't actually THAT blue.
